Tim Piatt is seeking election to the 36th District of the Ohio House of Representatives.
In 1979, Tim was born in Charleston, South Carolina. After moving to Ohio, Tim attended Boardman High School and attended Kent State University, where he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Education in 2001.
While attending college, Tim drove a bus for the Kent State University Campus Service. Also, shortly after college, Tim worked as a Special Education Tutor at Canton McKinley High School and was a high school teacher in the Canton City Schools.
Tim attended the University of Akron Law School, graduating in 2006 and attended the University of Akron School of Business receiving a Masters Degree in Taxation in 2010.
Currently Tim is an attorney at Macala & Piatt where he works passionately for the working men and women of Ohio and their retirement plans.
In addition, Tim is a member of the American Bar Association (Labor and Employment Law Section), the Ohio State Bar Association, the Stark County Bar Association and the AFL-CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee.
Plus, Tim serves on the Board of Directors for the Autism Society of Greater Akron.
Tim and his wife Jennifer are the proud parents of Samuel (8) and Abigail (5).
